Image differences between original PS3 version and PS4 remaster

seems like they changed global illumination, less gloss, less bloom...
noticeable changes:
- cabaret grils has been replaced (probably because of contract expiration)
- Answe X Answer mini-game deleted ?
- Green filter (just like in Kiwami 1 & 2)

woops, Cabaret Girls are a HUGE part of my Yakuza Experience, I HOPE they do something about it, Yakuza Kiwami really let me down with ONLY  2 hostesses, (c'mon!!) and they didn't look that good to me, as the ladies of previous games

I'll most likely be streaming this and translating the game when it comes out (despite the underwhelming response to my previous livestreams - Yakuza 2 & Kiwami 2 comparison streams, Hokuto ga Gotoku and Yakuza 6). It seems like the hostess club Ageha is completely removed in the Remastered version due to licensing. Yui and Rina from Kiwami make a return as hostess in the remastered edition of RGG3 (they were not present in the PS3 version).

Looking forward to some of the tweaks they made to the engine. RGG 1 & 2 HD Edition made some pretty significant changes with the game. In the originals, you have to travel back to Serena (the hideout) and switch items you need/don't need. In the HD Editions, they've incorporated some of the features used in the later games - being able to move items in the inventory by simply going to a telephone booth in the city and having a 'check mark' on every item you've purchased. And of course, full camera control in battle (especially in RGG1).

As for the hostess image comparison above, it's just make up that you can add to your hostess. Most of the video footage that was shown in that reveal trailer was clips used from past RGG 3 gameplay trailers with the exception of the hostess segment.

@TheElecPlay Rina Rukawa from Kiwami makes a return? Hasn't she retired from public activities such as being an idol? I think Rina Sakurai is the one who is in the remastered version again^^

Correction, it's not Rina. It's Kana Momoko apparently/

https://www.4gamer.net/games/420/G042032/20180629040/

This article has more information about the game (for those that played Yakuza 3, it's no different). It talks about the combat mechanics (Komaki reversals, heat actions), the revelations and some of the streets of Kamurocho and Ryukyu Dori in Okinawa.

There are some screenshots (used again from Yakuza 3 PS3) but there are some which look like the remastered visuals (looks like Kiwami).
I'm curious as to who is porting the game over to PS4. Is it RGG Studios/SEGA themselves or a third party developer?
